Frome Wessex Camera Club

Home Back	Battles Our programme includes external competitions (Battles) with other clubs.  This always adds a degree of extra excitement to the evenings!
	This year the battles are with:   Annual Interclub Battle Competition date is 6th Feb 2010 - Hand in date is now past. Nine clubs competing with an entry of 8 prints per club. FWCC came joint first with Warminster last year, so will be defending our position! This will be held at Warminster Camera Club   Three Way Battle (Frome Wessex, Frome Selwood and Radstock) Competition date is 5th March 2010 - Hand in date is 12th February. There is a set list of subjects for this battle see here.   Mid Somerset (Glastonbury club) Battle Competition date 19th March 2010 - Hand in date is 12th February. This will be held at Beckington.   Warminster Battle Competition date is 23rd March 2010 (postponed from 2nd Feb) - Hand in date is 12th February. 	Submission of entries for Battles Any member can put forward images for these competitions.  They are then reviewed by our selection committee who decide which will go into the competition to represent the club.  The selectors may also pick out entries from internal competitions to put forward as entries for the battles if they are particularly appropriate. In general rules for submission of images to external competitions are the same as for internal club competitions.  If there is anything specific which is different, we will let members know.  Prints for the Three Way, Mid Somerset and Warminster Battle can be brought to the club meeting on 12th Feb.  Digital images should be emailed to Peter Chislett by the 12th Feb at the latest, his email address is fromewessexcc@aol.com.  Please note that for the Warminster battle digital images must be saved at a different size to that normally used in club competitions - files must not exceed a maximum width of 1400 pixels and maximum height of 1050 pixels.  Digital images for the other battles must comply with standard club rules for size (max 1024 pixels wide, 768 pixels high).
